We are software engineering enthusiasts, and have seen the best (and possibly the worst) approaches used across a range of projects, sectors and clients. This has lead us to our views on the way software needs to be built to meet the business need, deliver quickly and to plan. Black Pepper's practices take the best from RUP, agile, CMM, ITIL, PRINCE/2, ISO and the strangely ubiquitous waterfall,. We know that new working methods can be tough to implement, and that one size doesn't fit all. We believe in a hands-on approach to “leading by doing”, pragmatically applying the right practices so we can rapidly establish agile working and more importantly demonstrate results.
